Maori broadcasting in Aotearoa has a long history. This section is about exploring those origins.

Nga Mana presents short biographies of people who played a part in the Maori broadcasting story. Many, but not all, are no longer amongst us, some are broadcasters in Te Reo, some are not, but you might describe all these people as the tipuna of Maori broadcasting.

Whakaaro Ake are the personal recollections of people who were and are involved, or have some special recollection of Maori broadcasting. Some writers may even disagree and have different views on the same events, but these are not supposed to be concise histories, rather observations and stories that provide some insight into this kaupapa.

We hope that both these sections will grow and be added to over time.
